Ryan and Sally's New York Adventure

Well, our time in New York is done for now... please go here to see the new London webpage.  There are still some photos to come from Bob and Marilyn's visit (once they scan and email them to me!)... so do check this page again sometime!

The New York Aquarium at Coney Island:
On Nov. 8th, 2002, we visited the NY Aquarium with a small group of people from the AMNH.  We were treated to a fantastic behind-the-scenes tour by the head animal curator.  We met with the trainers, saw some of the huge water filtration equipment, and heard lots of great stories about the animals and the exhibits.  It's a pretty long train ride from where we live, being all the way at the bottom of Brooklyn, but it was well worth it.

Presley the dolphin
Our reaction to Presley's acrobatics (someone asked how they teach the dolphins to do flips... the trainer kindly showed us, and got soaked in the process!)
More photos are on the way!
